passive Pultec type EQ and G9 for gain makeup

hi,

one of my next project should be a passive pultec style eq, maybe with some more frequencies and a G9 for gainmakeup....

I would use a ll5402 on the input of the passive eq stage, as it is done in the Gyraf Pultec.

Can I connect the unbalanced output of the eq circuit directly to the "instrument input jack" or should I better use an extra transformer at the eq output and the LL1528 at the G9 input ??

Yes, you could connect directly to that point, and omit the G9 input transformer.

and ... if I wanted to connect the passive eq section to another amp...
a 1272 for example...
what kind of output trafo do I need in the eq to go balanced into the amp ??

The output of the filter section will prefer to look into something like 10K Ohms or higher. If that's what you're asking.

(pin2 connected to gnd) to get the coloration of the transformer into the signal ??

yes - why not? But a low-z (600R) input will drag the eq circuit down, so use a med-to-high line input.
