Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and have started my first DIY project, a GSSL Clone.  I'm building it and it just about finished.  I http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/817504-gssl-clone-help.html#post8804021 the PCB from the Audio Chef and all the resistors and components from over seas distributors.  I am in no way an electronics engineer and haven't a clue as to what I'm doing.  I ordered all the parts from a BOM list that I fear was for a UK compliant transformer (220v as compared to 120v for US sockets). I would really love this to work as I have put a ton of time into learning to solder before I even started this project.  I have included some images hoping that someone out there can see the problem.  Again I am in no way an electronics engineer and I just don't want to blow out my power AGAIN!  Or my house.  I am using a 240V 15+15v 30VA toroidal transformer.  If this is not correct for US use, what is the correct voltage?
My soldering joints look great. I have no bridges or any problem with the soldering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The photos of my project can be seen at:

The images were to large to post here.

Glancing at your pics, it looks like the power transformer is not connected properly. Iirc the power connection is on the other side of the smoothing caps and rectifiers. You will also need to get the correct 115v transformer.

As Jakob noted the GSSL build thread is the best place for this.

Mark
