Hi.

Does anyone have an input transformer for the 50's Berlant preamp? It eas a T3344?

If anyone has any alternative IT's they can recommend that would be great.

Thanks

Hi Tristan,

Welcome to the forum - good to see you posting over here.

I have done a few trades with OKGB, and he is a reliable seller and all round good guy.  ;)

Yes , some of the nicest  , most reasonable people
[ there's always a few  " past date " individuals anywhere ]

Also searching for Transformers to put in Berlant Preamps! If you wanna sell something, please let me know!

In my experience the best alternative for Berlant input transformers are Newcomb TR-91. They are large keyed nine pin sockets.  The Newcomb's have similar heft to the T-3344.  I also use the old Bogen transformers.  My problem has been finding suitable line output or bridging transformers that near meet the T-2560.  The search is on for tape recorder restorations.

OKGB, you noted you have some Grommes transformers that may be extra.
Your DIY inbox is full so I ask on the forum.

If you do indeed have extras I am interested so I can complete my mixers.
