I'm not sure if this one has already been shared around, but within 5mins I had my first valve simulation running:

I have absolutely no idea at all how accurate any of that stuff is, but it sure looks like it works.

I've always been curious about the electrical aspects of valves, and since I'm kinda scared of them (at least for the moment), I'm happy to simulate from a distance whilst I continue to use transistors ;)

If you mess with valves, your gf is going to perceive as a more masculine male, i.e. an alfa specimen.

You should by now also know that valves warm up the sound considerably - you will LOVE valve amps in cold winter. Just ask about any garage band how's the real deal about valves (and their practice room).

Also, all that warmth is probably the reason for all open air events in the summer.

Valves also have the potential to significantly warm up your world-view. Just leave your shades on a working tube amp for a couple of minutes (or more), and put them back on when you leave the practice room.

Hey, isn't life just marvelous?

Ehh, forgot the linky - PRR supposedly liked this site, so there may be something for you in there?
