Well, here is +(10...20)V -> to +150 and +/-12V DC/DC converter! Works fine, f@cking simple;
enough current, low noise, great regulation, $12 for parts.
Approx. 100 kHz working frequency.
Hooked up the load resistors to check - all voltages are stable, +150 within 1% with and w/o load, +/-12V regulated with 78/79 L12's.
Very low switching noise residue - about -80db.
Checked with loads: 15k on +150V, 220R on +/-12V.
I found the way to simplify and make waaaay cheaper IN-13 level meter, Dorrough or "set by user" time const's for peak/average response.
PIC is used instead of THAT2252 for log detector; choice between lin and log scales; stay tuned!
