Could be even worse than the 2002 floods, Prague badly affected.

My partners home town of Chemnitz is badly flooded, friends not able to get to work and are
quite worried.

There is just nowhere for all that water to go !

Visited Prague last summer and saw all the work they had done to recover from the last time/trying to avoid it happening again.

Such a sad thing.

Oh man-very sorry.  I have good friends that live in those neighborhoods that were flooded out last time.  Going to send some emails now...
