Exactly! The EQ module is especially hot. the PCB feels like 50-60C, so the chips are even hotter. Line output chips are cooking pretty hot as well.

Interesting. what voltages are you running it at?
 
Well done on your project.
We also found that off setting the pot line ups at 11 o'clock is a suitable compromise when the modules are rotated 90 degrees.
