Is it my imagination or is gmail totally counter intuitive??

In my view gmail is the best option for receiving email on an iphone.  IOS mail just doesn't allow for enough sorting options. 

used to be a prospective employee for Google had to make it through 14 interviews to make sure they were a genius, then they received a million bucks in stock and were told to drive a civic instead of a BMW as that was the culture,

could they be relaxing their requirements? maybe only 12 interviews and a rubics cube test?
they are having problems with the gizmo that you wear on your head, so maybe they have peaked out as a company,

paypal has started a program whereby you can buy stuff while in outer space, maybe they have peaked out also,

Mt View used to be a low rent town til Google got there, now you need a wheelbarrow full of cash to get a apartment, and the workers are so busy that seats in the the Google box section at Shoreline Amphitheater are seldom occupied, but they do have a bunch of 5 star restaurants inside the lobby to persuade people to eat in their cube, while the execs have a 3 margarita lunch at the delicious Fiesta del Mar Mexican restaurant down the street,
