Hey...

I am needing to rack up 10 modules that are approx the size of a 500 series unit.  I have a rebis ra200 rack and it uses some form of aluminum extrusions to build a "quick and easy" rackmount unit. (ie bare fram without top/bottom/side etc).

Anyone have any ideas as to where that material can be found or alternative solutions?

Any info would be great!

Why not just a face plate with hole patterns for your module to screw in? something like a 3ru or 4ru.

Faceplates are cheap to make and fast.
Not sure if you need rear support or anything like that.

Thanks for the idea, but the modules would need some rear support...as well as a back panel to mount connectors as the modules have edge connectors only.

Looking to find a racking system similar to:

I am selling an Aphex 9000 rack and psu on the Black Market. It already has the backplane with edge connectors. You can trim it and place inside at the correct depth.  It should be a fairly and easy task.

Or, I have again an 11 slot 500 series frame (top/bottom/sides) with ventilation holes on the sides and top. This is just a prototype that I got cut/folded. It is out of 1.5mm stainless steel. No rack ears.

PM me if they are of interest.
