Looking to step up the quality of my interface but don't have the budget to move to something like an aurora. With these being almost 14 years old would any of y'all still recommend them? Or have any other recommendation. Don't need at ton I/o just looking for slightly higher quality than m-audio and presonus haha. Also would like I to be pci or pcie

I think the converters on the Lynx II are quite good. I used it for mastering when I first struck out on my own. I got a new computer with PCIe slots so my Lynx II is sitting in the old chassis. I can't decide whether to try to build a "legacy" machine or just get rid of the Lynx II with the AES expansion and the PCI RME card. You can run multiple cards from the same clock with a ribbon cable.

If you make me an offer I'll probably say yes. Mine is the 2 In 6 Out model with an extra AES 8 I/O
