Opinions on Soundcraft 500/600

They are good recording consoles. I have had 2 s600 consoles, both are still in service. The TT patchbay on the s600 is a great addition.
They sound great, are easily upgradable ( burr browns in all 3 of my soundcrafts ) and have great recording features.
I am currently downsizing and trying to find a new home for a soundcraft s4. Its like the s600's BIG brother.

A friend of mine does have a few 500s......
Just get all the updates for that one , do think there were 7 of them to do on them.....
Very critical on the flatcable..... and yes a lot of work to do to get them sound great again......
