Can someone tell me the resistor values to use in an api clone preamp.
I'm planning to use a Lorlin switch.
Any tips on how to hook up ?
thanks

Here's the values I used on mine (third column):

A true 22K rev log looks to give something like a 3.72 db per step ratio, and would look like ( second column is what the resistance value should be for this step, third column is the difference between the two, if you are building a stepped attenuator ( the sum of resistances equals each step value):

db resistor(ohms) ohm diff between steps
66 0
62 110 110
59 276 166
55 530 254
51 920 390
47 1519 599
44 2438 919
40 3849 1411
36 6014 2165
33 9336 3322
29 14434 5098
25 22257 7823

thanks, I gotta update or rrather redo my site, I havent updated in 2 years or so and the studio is entirely different now, I dont think I have any of that stuff anymore... %100 discrete audio path now. IF you are ever in NJ come check it out.
