wow, how many glue sticks did that take? you must have been tripping on the fumes. Great idea though...

I have mine epoxy-filled from the manufacturer, but this is a nice trick for off-the-shelf types.
Just don't run the toroid at max. current - if it gets hot, you'd risk melting it off it's holder.. :grin:

JB Weld, a high temp, high density two part epoxy available in hardware stores does this trick really well too.
It drills and taps just fine once it's cured.
