I have been referencing the following Kenetek-Drip schematic for the rotary fast/slow/both/off switch mod.

I am simply trying to install a DPDT fast/slow switch to choose between the 2 T4bs (not the rotary switch). Regarding the 2.2meg resistor R8 shown on the original schematic between 3 and 4 on the optocell. I'm not seeing it in the Kenetek schematic. There is a 2.2meg resistor going to ground on the off position. Is R8 still utilized between 3 and 4 on the optocell? Do I need 2 R8's across each optocell? I don't believe any other components need doubling but I'm not sure.
