Hi,

I was looking for easy and cheap compressor.I found LM-401.Tried with spice and working good to me.Then i made self etch and gerber files. But not tried yet.I will...You can check an try circuit.

I learned lots of thing from this forum.I think i should share something for free. It's not big thing but my work in the end...

You have to add gain stage to out.Cause out is really low.You can try with Balancing Card from Audiox for balancing and gain.

I think original unit using 1N4005 in signal section and 748 for op amps.I made circuit with TL071 but designed to use with 748 to.Don't install compensation capasitors if you use TL071.

Check & download from my website.

It would be great if you add some sound samples. I never heard of this compressor and cannot find any sound sample on the net.

How does it sound? clean? dirty? On wich sources do you like it? voice? drums?

Thanks. You are making some nice contributions i love this simple and rare  circuits.

Hi!
Are the files still available somewhere?
It seems that https://analogobsession.wordpress.com/hardware/pandora/ has no contents...
Thank you!
