this prototype worked fine
what about the T4B, how is this solved with the pcb and all?

board_a_thick_prototype_for.jpg

as such,

this design worked very well /

a bit thick on the tracks , but it is intended for the home pcb

diy etcher.

my only grip was that i wanted all conections to end upon an edge

because i dont like wires coming out of the middle of

the board ,

so i revised it into a euro card style with the on/off points on the edge.

ill post more in a bit a gotta go pay the bills .

I go around around in circles on this one too and keep coming to the conclusion that the turret board is the best suited to this project

but I do look at it occasionaly

great work Duka, thanks !!
Can I use it whit Cayocosta's layout ??
Yes!
This is based on Caycosta layout or original LA-2A.
Only watch both and schematics.
If I couldnt find turret board I will make like this.
Duka

fantastico!!

i know , the turret bord works great ,

but thats whats so much fun about the la-2 pcb puzzel , trying to make an efficient format.

great job kev !

on my first design , i was keeping the c7 lytics on the board ,

but my voltages went super high , when i kept the caps all close together

on a single ground , it all started to work out .
... great job kev !
thanks
but I can't take credit for the layout above
This one is from Joe M and I think it was only ever a prototype.
... he loaned/gave it for an edit and re-work for a future Group DIY project.
BUT
we got distracted and at about the same time, Kent's turret board layout arrived and not much later so did CJ's mate's layout (see vacuumbrain.com)

and now you have the Bloo kits ....

so it just ended up on the backburner

you get that

Yea, LA2 pcbs wooooooO!!!!

The only part missing here is the T4B cell

Great both of you!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
