Hi,

When i was looking for cheap solution for making custom front panel,i found Super 77 method.I tried this method with only spray lacquer. No Super 77 and it's still great!I can tranfer all letters with out any loss. But i have to ask two question about this.

1.After etching, how can i remove lacquer without removing letters?

2.Can i use it with painted panels?

Thanks.

And some example...It's not perfect but i'm trying to find best way. It's easy to improve. And i think i have to print it darker. As you can see that i need to clean it with naphtha. No problem for letters, right?

I tested drying time of lacquer.

15 min.

Waiting between is 30 min and 1 hour is good.(If i clean them, they will be better,i guess.)

Now i need to work on original panel.

I've tried remove lacquer with naphtha but it removed letters, too. What's wrong?

I'm moron.OK.Naphtha is not cleaning after lettering. It's for remove everything. Now everything is clear.

Is there any way to remove lacquer without removing letters?

Thanks for sharing this embellishment idea.  I wont use it exactly the same as you, but find it very inspirational.  Definitely an adaptable idea.
