Do you sell the PCBs for the attenuator separately? If not, is there a wiring diagram to hook it up?

letterbeacon, hello!
Have PCB separately, but dont sale this!
If you need small quantity, I can send.
Or use next img for connecting:

Hi!

I'm thinking about getting the 1176 as my first big build, however the Mouser cart says I need to order a minumum of 2500 of the 2N5457 JFET. I feel that's a bit excessive.  ;D

How do I get only the 2 i need?

Any plans to offer the 1176 transformers separately Avdo? :)
Hello!
People ask me about often!
But I don't have any plans to sale they separately! May be near future)))
But not now! Sorry!

Hi guys!

I'm happy to introduce you my new MP312-4!

For a while I wanted to create a Rack version of API312 mic preamp with 4 channels.
I'm sure people will love it and will be using different Rack modules. It was my idea to create something exciting!
I hope you will love this new MP312 4 channel mic preamp since it was made based on old API 312 version preamp.
And now you can use four channels per unit! I hope it will be a good reason to select this kit.

sivert_h, hello!
Sorry for delay! On the trip now.
But will try to help you as I told you in pm.
1) 2n3391 and 2n3392.
I think it could be works, but it has to do some tests. 2n3392 has less HFE than 2n3391. It gives you less gain. And not sure it will works good.
You can find this parts on:

www.banzaimusic.com

They are from Germany, and have good parts you need.

2) About resistors. You can change all these resistors as you wrote.
Or you can use 1/2w resistors without any problems.

3)  25k attack pot.
Check please same website for ordering this. They have same pot too.

If you will need more help, please, contact me!
I have all this parts in stock. If you want can help you with.

You are welcome!

I have an issue with the calibration steps for the 1176.
Under "Discrete Meter Circuit/Null Adjust" it says:
  1. Zero the compressors "GR" meter with the R71 zero adjust pot.
Thats fine, it works. However for step 2:
  2. Adjust pot R75 (null adjust) for 0.0 Volts across R74. It is TP2 place!

it is always 0.0 Volts across R74 no matter which way i turn R75. Turning R75 only changes the VU meter. So I set R71 and R75 so that the VU meter says 0 dB, no need for step 3. Is this correct?

The issue continues during the next step "Reduction Meter Tracking Adjustment". After switching JumperT1 to ON
"Your meter will most likely drop. Don’t worry! Set it back to zero by using the R71 zero adjust pot."
The meter drops, but turning R71 changes nothing on the VU meter. That can't be correct?

Doing the rest of the calibration changes nothing on the VU meter. I have no idea where the error is. Help?! :-\ :'(
