Where to find this old type frontpanels (photo)

Does somebody knows where it is possible to order that type of metal work ?

Looks like photo etched meta (alu?), but with a non-metal center layer!?

I googled photo etched alu, but this looks like etchings are filled. I dont think it looks like that on your pic.

Im guessing the rugged look would be a matter of designing it that way + some wear.

...could also be a PCB, actually.

In other words - I have no idea, but I like it, and Ill have to investigate how hard it is to make alu photosensitive.
