I saw so nice winding machines in Mumbay. I dared to ask the price, because I knew I would regret leaving without one. They were really heavy and I already bought that huge horn speaker. ;D
save half the money for wire, insulation, tape, mandrels, bobbins, lams, O-scope if you don't have one, signal generator and maybe an extra voltmeter so you can read current and voltage at the same time,

It probably doesn't get more complicated than there..
