Hello, I got a nice Ashly sc66A from over the pond...120V.

I want to exchange the transformer for 240V use, and possibly do some OP-Amp upgrades.

Anyone able to help?

Greetz, Niko

Niko;

I have always gotten very good support from Ashly on their old products.

Try them they may only have the manual/schematic in paper form.

But I looked above and found these.
You will still need to contact them on a schematic.

Thanks Adrian, I contacted them, but haven't heard back since...

Meanwhile, I have opened the unit and must say: NICE!

Each band on it's own PCB plus seperate summing Boards, seperate switching Boards, seperate I/O Board.

ICs used:

~~/015 LF353N on Hi-Band

XC TL072CP on Hi-Mids

AC RC4558P on Low-Mids, Low and summing Board

AC LM301AP on summing Board

All socketed!

I get back to you with further Info.
Meanwhile: Any thoughts on Upgrades for those OP Amps (I only know the TL072)?

Regards, Niko

Remember

We in USA now have 1 person doing 3 peoples job.
Pester them more.

Stuff falls through the cracks so bump it up!
Contact them every day for a week.
Then Fax them every hour.
If that does not work. Write big words
and use 10 pages for your message.

When that fails make the above big words a negative image.
All black except your words. And FAX every hour.

When that fails do the above on an analog FAX machine.
tape the 10 black pages with white letters together as one long page.
Run it through the FAX machine and very quickly tape the
last page to the first page. To make a continious loop.
Think of a never ending audio reel to reel loop applied to a FAX machine.
After several hours of the above they will have no paper or toner in their
FAX machine and I guarantee your message will have gotten across
at that point.

The squeaky wheel always gets the greese.
