Hi all,

I would like to find a suitable output cap in my p2p la2a build, but actual sprague 10uf 500v is to big to fit the case..
Maybe the 450v here are not needed, could i choose one 250v 10uf cap ? ...Does somebody have any recommendation regarding the brand/material i can choose ?

250v should be fine, I've never measured more than 100v on the output cap on the many LA-2As that I've built. I usually use film caps here, the electros sound a bit flat to me.

Ian, aka Bluebird, was nice enuff to sport down with one of these monster non polarized output caps with 4 leads,  i guess for mechanical reasons,

had to re-arrange some stuff to make it fit,

we are running octal tubes in this box, 6SL7's 6SN7 follower and a  6V6GT to drive the EL panel,
