Security warning + SPAM redirect from GDIY???

Roughly half the time I visit GDIY on mobile (Android kit kat stock browser) I get an warning message that the site is not secure and I should proceed with caution. On top of that, I occasionally get redirected to an obvious SPAM site (screen shot attached) when navigating away from GDIY. I never experience this on any other sites and my mobile security (Lookout) is up to date. What is going on??!?!

My apologies for posting in this forum....couldn't find a "technical issues" section.

I visit lots of secure sites and never get that message....and never get redirected to obvious pop-up spam when I try to navigate away. Just giving GDIY a heads up, they may wanna check on this.

I see occasional security certificate mismatch warnings (from adware) but no redirects. Is it possible you clicked on something or your browser did?

Safari Version 10.0.1 (11602.2.14.0.7) on a Mac also balks at this site's authenticity. The issue is most likely somewhere in the webserver's certificate chain (may be serving one or more old/invalid certs). An admin should probably investigate this.

Time to stop storing my credit card details and social security number in direct messages to myself!

Redirect is definitely coming from GDIY. It's happened several times and it's always this fake Facebook "Membership Rewards"  in the title then "Congratulations! You could be selected to receive a reward!"....then a multi-choice quiz. Again, never get this anywhere else other than GDIY.

Why only on GDIY, I don't know, though the last URL says "only on TOPiX forum", so it may be selective.
