The schematics show an interesting detail: the transformer is a Hiller CT M49/1 and not BV 11, but the tube is already AC701 and not MSC2. So these must be some rare transition models. Probably not many were made or at least I have never heard of that kind of tube-trafo combination.

Always interesting for those who have a weak spot both for history and microphones.  :)

There have been quite a few versions of the M49. Of course there are the three main versions that apparently were deliberate enough to warrant a suffix (well, the first one didn't need that). Hence -, b and c. But along the way more alterations were made, some likely because certain parts ran out etc.
Last I recall was Klaus saying that there were at least nine versions. I don't have the quote at hand and I might be wrong, but perhaps he'll chime in himself.

That's why i wanted that schematic :D

For now i know there were  M49, M49a, M49b, M49c.
I have already five  schematics for 49.

Compare schematics  :p
