Hey guys,
Ended up picking up an old Bogen MXM 5 channel tube mixer on craigslist a few months back. I decided I wanted to separate the 4 EF86 channels and add direct outs. I added 4 12au7 output stages and they are working great! The unit had a vu meter attached that was driven by a 6bf6. Was wanting to continue to use this meter but since the unit was gutted for the rebuild I need to re design/add a circuit to drive the VU. Was wondering if there was a more simple circuit to add with maybe a bridge rectifier? I have 60ohms across the meter. thanks for the help! attached is the BOGEN schematic
