Dan Lavry's forum has very good stuff(Keith told me about the forum in thread some time ago).

Many years ago I had classes in data and rf,microwave comm. Alot of this crap around digital cables and other things is funny to read about.

The classes had stuff about TEM modes, skin effect, bit patterns(good and bad), FEC. BERs, packet sizes, termination etc.................................... Alot of this stuff is old and well known

My favorite forum at Prosoundweb. Dan Lavry and Paul Fridle are geniuses [the PRRs of Prosoundweb]. I remember their first posts long before Dan had his forum, and instantly it was clear that these guys are in a diferent league.
My god, sometimes I think that I work, read, learn, experiment all day long, but even if I would do this as intensively for the rest of my life, I would never know more then 10% of what any of these guys know. They are amazing.
