Up for sale is a RCA MI-6203-B microphone, also called the Varacoustic. This specimen is in good condition, but has some dents and scratches on the grill bars. However, there's no warping, which is quite common on the Varacoustic due to its cast metal frame. The grill cloth is fully intact, but yellowed.
The microphone sounds perfect, although a reribboning is recommended at some point. It likely has its original ribbon, which is now more than 70 years old. The microphone is wired for 250 ohms.

Evidently, it shares the same motor as the 77D (a poor-man's 77?!)
Price: a re-ribonned MI-6203-B seems to go for about €850. I'm thinking €450 for this one.
