The fact that these transformers are completely unscreened will cause problems in microphone applications. You will pick up every magnetic field in the surroundings of the transformer(s).
Try Neutrik transformers.
Also you will find some nice mic input transformers on ebay from good brands for cheap that were scavenged from old gear.
