Just got to hear the Stones new album Blue and Lonesome..........WOW!

I never heard Mick Jagger sing so well in the last 54 years, incredible feeling.

A fitting homage to all those wonderful black blues guys.

They recorded this in 3 days live with no overdubs, wonderful playing too.

I feel inspired :D

It's a really good record. It showed up on iTunes for $6.99, which made it basically a no-brainer purchase. Of course I just spent $25 on the vinyl reissue (with download card, very important) of a indie record I should have bought when it came out 25 years ago ...

Keith Richards said in his biography that he really loved tracking live to 8 track a Muscle Shoals. Once they got more tracks and started overdubbing they lost the vibe of playing together.

Cheers
