Conviction

Microphone identification
« on: November 12, 2019, 09:32:07 AM »
So, I just got this microphone, but am having a hard time identifying it.
At first I thought it was a condenser,  but it's actually a dynamic. Could it be a Sennheiser? Body reminds me of Schoeps though.

LRAB (Sveriges Lokalradio AB, a division of Swedish Radio) points to it being from or around 1977.
Also: how on earth do you get it open?  :o

I am no expert, but it looks similiar to the Beyer M101n, but head grill is different. Maybe an custom job for the swedish Radio??

Lets call it a German made omni dynamic microphone 😁
