Hello,

My proud HR824 mk2 speaker is not powering on ....after a quick check, I realized that 56 V is missing.
The main transformer is ok, have swap it with my second speaker, No problem.

+- 49 V  and +- 15 V are ok.

Diode bridge ? Any caps ? ....who might be the guilty ?

Have a look at the jpg please.

Thanks for your help  :)

Replace D32 - D35 (4x 1N4004 in MELF package), because you should get +/-56V DC (1.414 x 40) after rectification.

Wait...

Are C123 and C124 capacitors soldered to the power board really rated at 25V?
Might wanna replace with low ESR type rated at 63V.

c124 and c115 / c123 and c82 are each in series to center tap , giving 25V+63V .
c124/c123 only see the difference from 56V-49V regarding to GND

Thanks Nashkato

To not make confusion, who's the  guilty ? Not the diodes ? Referring to metal response
