Hi guys! I'm searchign with no luck some lockwasher solder lug to install on a potentiometer (I want to solder my shield cable on it). I don't find anything with a big enought hole to fit the 3/8 pot. I know Universal audio use them in there 1176 and probably a lot of other build, but I can't find anything that could fit. Any ideas, where to get them?

I didn't find much in that size with those kind of parts specifically, either.  Closest I found was a 1/4".

You may look instead at a normal crimp ring terminal if you don't find any of the "washer with solder lug" style.

Edit:

Actually I did find something on this manufactuers site, but I haven't looked past for anybody that caries such a thing:

Edit2:  Looks like maybe you can buy directly from them.  May be worth looking at.

Thanks for your reply. I just found something that could work on Digikey: https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/2-34115-2/A27018CT-ND/2233395

It's not lockwasher, but should do the same job. Will look at your link too :)

Not much help, but BNC connectors generally use the attached arrangement with a separate internal tooth lockwasher, but 3/8" threads. This might be out of order, perhaps the toothed lockwasher goes against the chassis, then ring terminal and nut.

I use these:

https://abra-electronics.com/terminals-blocks-barrier/solderless-terminals/insulated-solderless-ring-type-16-14awg/12-670-100-blue-solderless-ring-terminal-16-14-awg-3-8-100-pcs-12-670-100.html

Similar to what you have found, but you can get them in town, and thin enough to not cause issues with standard bushing length in faceplates. The blue plastic cuff slips off and you can solder or crimp the shield(s) in - I solder mine.

They are long enough to clear a standard Allen Bradley type J pot.

I use a dremel and remove the anodic layer or paint around the hole, then a lock washer, then the solder tab, then the pot...

Not the best photo - but there is one of them under every pot here:

Thanks, I just found something similar, a ring connector at Digikey :) Will try that with a lockwasher coming from the pot. Should be perfect! Thanks again
