Wow all in one, thats crazy! Cool.

I'm in Backorder hell. I too got really excited and went nuts, I love this place, now I'm learning patience, every project has one/two or more parts on backorder.

Chae 4 Channel Pre.
G9
Calrec x2
G-SSL
BLOO LA2a
Fabio's 1272
G-1176 (mnats)
eddie Ciletti British American 1176
Tube/Spring Reverb (my own creation)
and a bunch of guitar FX.

Actually the wait has been serving me well, I can read and get more DIY concept to balance the hands-on DIY.

But I will put all these projects on the back burner if the Calrec 1061 project gets off the ground

Thanks everyone for the kind words!!

Tony..The knobs are from our own maxwall.

Gary,

Very impressive and innovative. You could be the next hit with designs like that.

I agree, There are many smart and nice people here and I can't emphasize that enough. A model society.

WOW :thumb:

i also would love to see progress...
thinking to make 2x2pre>2eq>2comp box (w/xover)
2 pres rel312. Need to make plans for routing...
so i'm very interested in your results.
Keep posting!

Very nice!
What is the power supply putting out? What are you feeding to the 312? The 9K? I know the Green needs +-15.

Hi everyone

To answer some questions.

CJ ..you are right about troubleshooting as the chassis will
be very tight..Damn I hope it all works!!! The VU meters
are a pair of old simpsons that were in a DA that our
production house took out of service about 11 years ago.
Talked our chief eng. out of em!! Installed Blue LEDs
in them to light them up and photoshopped a new scale
with my logo on it.

Mbira..The PSU is two split supplys plus phan. powered buy a 22V-0-22V
50VA trafo. It is based on http://orca.st.usm.edu/~jmneal/dual_psu/
Ver 2 times 2..one for -+15V and one for +-18V. The Phan 48V section
is from ssltech's KPS-1 (Thanks Keith) This complete 5 section PSU is built on my own etched pcb. Just to be safe (Lots of DC headroom) I think I will build up on one of my gustav ssl9k psu pcbs a +- 18V supply and power it from a 35VA trafo that I was saving fo a later project. Maybe overkill but I LOVE HEADROOM !!

Thanks all for your interest!!

GARY
