The Good Rats, early '70s. They had it figured out. Everyone should take heed of the wisdom in these lyrics.

In North Jersey in the 80s, it was easy to find Good Rats records in the bargain bins. So I have them all. And I haven't listened to any of them in > 20 years, except for one recently. We like to let the kid pull a record off of the shelves and play it, and one day he pulled "Tasty." And, yikes, it has not aged well. You should have seen the look on my wife's face.

That said, the line from "Takin' It To Detroit" (off of "From Rats To Riches") that goes, "the biggest band on Uranus" is pretty good.

Yeah, it sounds like a live recording with no  one in the audience, not at all like the  (ahem) "professionally recorded songs they play on the radio" thesedays.
