I read this in the TapeOp interview with him (owner of Ch*andler Ltd.). He says that the N*eve 183/283 amp is basically a Baxandall tone control circuit. What the hell is he talking about? I'm looking at both of these circuits and I just don't see it.

Yes, it is correct, Neve use a Baxandall circuit for bass and treble eq in modules as 1073. (even in later modules like 1081)

But the Equalizer section is not work around the BA-183/283 amp card, it is connected to the BA184/284 amp card and the BA105/205 bass/treble components card.

Oh! Well of course! The shelving EQs. Duh! The way I read Wade's comments made it sound like he was calling the amplifier section itself a Baxandall. That made absolutely no sense. Sorry for wasting space with my misunderstanding. :roll: Thanks, Bo. :thumb:
