omg. you can +1 if it's ever happened to you.
I used this custom guit amp for a couple years before a friend made me an offer.

I get a complaint of volume cutting out...
I end up swapping in new jacks cause when I poked em with a chopstick the problem stopped... lol!

second time I get it...
oh yeah, must have cut that wire and didn't realise or wrapped it and forgot to solder, the wrap was keeping the tube biased like a news reporter in a hurricane holding onto a signpost for dear life!  ;D

It was kind of nice to get it back in, though. I rewired the power section entry wiring up to my new standards, so the online crowd can't bust my chops some day.
