Audient 8024 HE Desk

somebody here have had under hands the Audient Asp 8024 HE desk ?

looks interesting...  There is a manual online...

I've encountered one Audient desk in recent years,  My complaints are two.  The power supplies are dicey, and the lack of full modularity for the channels makes servicing tough.

Member Tom Waterman has great experience with Audient perhaps he'll chime in.

I help a friend maintain a 10 year old Audient ASP console and it's a decent sounding board.  I must concur with Brian that the PSU is a weak point and in fact it's sitting on the floor beside me as I type awaiting repair..

The non-modular nature of the board does make things a little more tedious, but not impossible.  We've also had issue with an under-rated molex on the power rails that needs changing periodically.

The layout is nice, the EQ solid.  Never listened to the bus comp.

Again, all comments are about the older model.

..i mean the sound

( also updates etc "on-line" .......... but manual etc.. do not produce any sound ....... unfortunately  :'(  )
