Hi,
I've built my first Soundskulptor MP573. I'm at the stage of plugging a dynamic mic in and getting an output that is mostly noise, a fizzy buzz, with a bit of the mic signal.
From the tests in the setup guide, I'm getting 25 Volts between V+ and TP2, I've done the biasing okay,  so 3 volts between TP2 and TP4.

Jumper is on JMP3 and  CN1,

Any ideas what to look for?

Thanks.

try to take off the jumper on JMP3, cause this simulate the DI.
Could be possible, that the signal sounds noisy, cause the mp573 thinks a di signal is in.
If it's not the jumper you should check out the solder joints at output stage and also if all caps are in the right direction.
