Output transformer design

Hey guys, first post....

I been a long reading of interesting designs and ideas, however I came up with something Thst I want to put tighter and mess around. I tried to do a search but could find much.

Essentially I want to make a transformer base gain to hit my analogue equipment and impart "color" I know there is the black box that have pentode and triad tube. But I want to endeavor in this area and understand this.

I talk to a gentleman in Jensen and he suggested me specialty output transformer thst will do this. He said just get a pair and hook em up. I am pretty sure ther e is more to that.
