Hey, I'm building the SK573 mic pre and ran into a snag...
Step 44 in the doc: http://www.soundskulptor.com/docs/mp573-assembly-guide-02.pdf

States that the PCB is tooled for "2 pinouts" for the transistor, or 4 holes for a 3 pin device. It states to use the "a" position of "a" or "b". The image makes it look like only two legs of the transistor are used, which can't be true. Anyone know what this means or how I should proceed?

Thanks!
Michael Smith

Never mind ... just needed another cup of joe.

It's simple: just use the top three of four PCB positions and leave the fourth, on the bottom, empty.
