UTC H-22
« on: August 12, 2017, 02:27:41 PM »
I was told that the A-25 would be a good upgrade for the output transformers on this single ended vari mu compressor I have. I came across this H-22. What are the major differences in this from the A-25? Would this H-22 be something to consider? Pretty clueless aside from the recommendation I was given from the builder. Right now the compressor just has some tiny SE transformers from an old SE RCA stereo or something as the output transformers and it rolls off from 300HZ down....

Thanks!

Would work perfectly fine.  H series are pretty much identical to A series but in a round, hermetically sealed case.  But don't tell everyone else  ;)

Yes, I thought they looked look pretty similar. I was just unsure because I'm clueless. The fact that the H series didn't list the Primary DCR, as the A series does, threw me for a loop. Just wanted to make sure....

Nice reference though! Just saved it...

Thanks!
