Reviving this thread w/new info.
I've had one of these AD2 units for a few months now. Although I've always used REW for measurements/testing, I was frustrated mainly by the bandwidth limitations of the soundcard in the testing computer I use, which is limited to about 10Hz - 24kHz.
Although the Waveforms software package that comes with the AD2 has the most common audio tests built in, it's by no means complete out of the box.
Last week I saw that a developer who had released a freeware test suite a couple of years back that looked like it has a lot of promise has started work on it again. It supports the following tests/measurements:
- THD+N vs Frequency
- THD+N vs Power
- Intermodulation Distortion
- Frequency Response
- Input Impedance
- Output Impedance
- Spectrum Analyzer w/function gen
- Oscilloscope w/function gen

Youtube channel for a guy that had made videos on AD2 audio testing using this suite before the developer went dark is now posting on this subject again. Be sure to watch the "SBS Update" video on this where he describes a potential configuration problem you should be aware of before using this suite. Basically, you have to use the channel 1 waveform output on the AD2 board for the signal gen. If you use channel 2, it won't work right.

You have to download the software from one of those "free" file storage sites, so be careful with the links. URLs are posted in this Youtube video (why he chose this way to put the word out is a mystery to me):

I haven't put this to use yet, but I have the software downloaded and will report back with my observations.
