Please let me thank everyone on this forum for all of the help and knowledge shared. This project has been a learning experience and has been great for my mental health over the past year.
This all started by trying to find a cool p2p tube preamp build and looking closely at the Scott Hampton article. From there it involved making changes to the PSU and audio circuit, adding a 3-position low shelving filter, sourcing NOS tubes with the sound I wanted, and experimenting with various combinations and values of the large Russian K-75 PIO and teflon caps. Dan Deurloo of Collective Cases Brough my graphics to life.
Here are photos of my completed preamp. I have ten cases to build, of which I will keep a few and the others will go to some bluegrass engineer friends of mine.
So, again, thanks for being so helpful and patient. This has been a blast.
