I have a regular 19" rack version of the TG-2. I really like the summing feature for drums because it allows me to flip the phase on one channel and then sum the top and bottom (or front and back) of a drum shell on the way in, thus, using only one channel on the converter. I'd really like to be able to do this w/ my CAPI VP28 preamps. Anyone know how it's done on the TG-2? Could it be adapted to 500 series? If not, I wouldn't be a opposed to putting pres into a 19" rack and then housing the summing switch in there. I'm just not sure how best to implement this. Any ideas?
