Right! useful picture. i know this is sacrilege, but when ever I study neumann mics I can't help feeling that far from being "state of the art" they were always designed on the cheap ;-)
Compare this to the design of the AKG C12 and it's decidedly average and a bit, well, particle board! Anyhow, i hope that doesn't offend anyone, I still love them, and they sound like platinum selling hits!
