How are you folks labelling your jackfield designation strips these days?

Any neat templates floating around for 24 hole standard B-gauge?

Do you use Excel, Word, or something else? Any mac- compatible stuff welcome.

(Trying to avoid labelling machines if poss)

Cheers,

I have four rows of TT to label so I am looking at a similar task. I'll probably do mine in Numbers.app because you can set font size & alignment per-cell. For two-channel patches you can merge two cells and centre the type across the pair. Also you can globally change font & font size to get everything to fit nicely

It is in no way a layout or design tool but it might work well for this

Thanks pucho, PatchCAD looks great. I do have an old Windows laptop knocking  around so
I might give that a go.

Nick, I like your idea too, and would be interested to hear how it goes.

Any other suggestions welcome, of course.

Last ones I did I used Excell, it was had to make the cells the right size.

before that I used a windoes software , I think it was Patchlabel, it was a free software, maybe from Neutrik
I still have the installer here, I can send it you if you want

Well that PatchCAD looks great, for 10 pounds, I would buy that one nowadays
