I saw a thread from a few years ago on this topic, but it seemed unresolved. I have one channel that pops when the Grayhill goes from 12:00 to 1:00, and again from 1:00 to 2:00. I’ve done 8 of these and this is the only one with this problem. Voltages are all good, no dc on the switch and solder joints have been checked. I’m mystified.

i think i remember some guy solving this problem by replacing the tantalums. apparently there are good and bad tants or at least according to the guy who claimed to have solved this issue.

btw, mine pop between ALL stages on both channels i've build. it never really bothered me tho.

Yes, I saw that. Seems odd it would pop only in two positions. I’d be more inclined to think it was a faulty switch. But it’s a solid pop. On the meter it jumps to 2.1 v on the output xlr.
