~ Maching Cost:  Console Panels Series 51x / Custom Functions in Vertical Strips

Approx. cost for full featured console channel strip, i.e., Mic/Line/DI Pre, Dynamics Control, EQ/Filters, AUX Sends, Bus Selector/Solo/Mute/Fader.

Conceptually thinking ... a mix of API-like and Neve-like modules and layout. Would like to have signal path and work flow to compliment previously mixed DAW projects. 100% patch.

Reference costing for aluminum console frame with large(tall) rear near vertical panels w/ Per Channel LED VU and Bus & Stereo VU Meters. Basic Master/Centre Section functions suitable for primary post-production clients.

Suggestions I might review?

Soon,

Its not really possible for us to give you a quote on metalwork, especially with so little detail. Once you have some design files, you can try some local places to. FPE is NOT cheap, but the quality is outstanding.

Most mixer frames are made from aluminium cheeks connected together with aluminium extrusions. Use front panel designer to draw and cost your cheeks (use 0.25 in (3mm) material).

Extrusions are available from many manufacturers and the costs of each are easy to find.
