1. Smaller "proto-runs"
2. Final Versions, to sell them to the community and so on...

Simple browser based PCB design and online ordering.
Perfect for simple analog stuff.
Eurocard sized boards come out at about $8 each.

There are many CHinese PCB suppliers who will make 10 off 100mm by 100mm PCBs for $5 (plus shipping). They are all very similar. Here are a few you can choose from:

I have also switched to easyEDA from being a long time loyal customer of another popular PCB maker.
Same build quality, same express courier service, but cost less.
