I've got an odd issue with my MP573. When I plug the output into my desk or soundcard with nothing else connected, rather than a transient pop or anything short like that I'm getting some kind of low frequency discharge that takes a couple of seconds or so to die away on the meters.
Any ideas what could be causing it?

Other than that, is the pre working ?
Can you describe the low freq sound more explicitly?
What lunchbox are you using?

Hi,
Sorry I didn't ever reply to this, very rude. Other than that the pre was working, using it with a Lindell Audio 506. The pre-amp has now developed what sounds like a ground hum which I'm about to investigate.
